Atlas 5.0 revamps the design of In Focus web parts and provides new layout and style options. In this article we document all configuration options for all Item Styles.

Layouts
Layouts are independent from Item Styles and only determine how the items are laid out rather than also determining how each item looks. You can now choose a Layout from the dropdown when hovering over the web part, as well as in the configuration panel:
The three layouts available are as follows:
- Carousel - one vertical row, items shown horizontally. Options for "autoplay" of items to scroll across the carousel
- Grid - multiple rows, multiple columns. Items are static once loaded
- Vertical Stack - multiple rows, one column. Items are static once loaded.

Item Styles available for each Layout
After choosing the Layout you can now choose an Item Style that works with that Layout. Some Item Styles can used across multiple Layouts, others are specific. See the full breakdown by clicking here.
Item Styles
You can now choose a Layout from the dropdown when hovering over the web part, as well as in the configuration panel:
Each Item Style has specific conifguration options which we will document below, although of course there is some overlap. All item styles include the following options at the bottom which allows you to remap the metadata fields used to display information:
Cards
For Cards you have the following options:
Hero
For Hero you have the following options:
People
For the People item style you have the following options:
In the Spotlight
For In the Spotlight you have the following options:
Visual Cards
For Visual Cards you have the following options:
Simple List
For the Simple List style you have the following options:
Details List
For the Details List item style you have the following options:
Click Manage columns to determine the column values to be returned for each item. This will open a panel over the page:
You can show as many columns as you want in this layout, but bear in mind the width of the page section where you want to show the web part. You can use Handlebars expressions to combine multiple metadata properties into a single column for the item. For example, we can use the following expression to combine the Reference and Title properties into a single column:
{{CPReferenceOWSTEXT}} - {{Title}}
If you do not need to combine any fields, you can uncheck Use Handlebars expression and choose the appropriate Managed Property from the dropdown. To see the Managed Properties for Atlas properties please refer to the following article: Atlas Managed Properties for Search
Please note that fields used here must be added to the Selected Properties list in the Advanced Configurations section on the previous configuration panel:
Accordion
For the Accordion style you have just one option:
