Atlas 5.2 Release Highlights

Overview

Introducing Atlas 5.2, the latest update focusing on enhancing AI Assistant, knowledge and external sources search.​

This release brings user-driven improvements, allowing for direct feedback on AI Assistant responses. Knowledge Managers can utilize this feedback to refine the knowledge base and ensuring more accurate and relevant answers. In addition, Atlas 5.2 introduces the ability to add multiple libraries to the knowledge collection to be utilized by AI Assistant. This feature respects the file security and permissions of the user. ​

Additionally, In Focus web part have a new item style called Flip Card that allows visualize up to eight metadata fields of the document or item. ​

Finally, the integration with SmartHub is now more robust, featuring enhanced query suggestions and spell check. This ensures a more intuitive search experience, reducing errors and enhancing overall search efficiency.

Feedback for AI Assistant

 

Receive immediate feedback from your users regarding the responses of the AI Assistant. Users will be provided with "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" buttons alongside each answer, enabling them to vote on the quality of the response.

Additionally, they have the option to leave a free-text comment, and for negatively perceived answers, the option to select multiple-choice featuring the most common reasons.

Administrators have the capability to export this feedback into a CSV file for data analysis and to create custom reports based on this information.

Knowledge Collections Expanded and Secured

 

In Atlas 5.2, we are expanding the capabilities of the Knowledge Collection by offering the ability to integrate up to seven existing document libraries into the Atlas AI Assistant.

Furthermore, the AI Assistant now indexes documents while respecting the file security and permissions settings of each user. This ensures a more secure, personalized experience, making the AI Assistant not just smarter, but also safer for all your needs. 

Flip Cards

 

Introducing a new visualization for In Focus Web Parts named Flip Card, an innovative feature that allows to display up to eight metadata fields associated with the document or item.

With the Flip Card style, users can effortlessly access detailed information about their items, providing a more comprehensive and interactive experience. This enhancement not only improves the visual appeal of the web part but also elevates its functionality by offering a deeper insight into the metadata of the item.

Additionally, editors have the flexibility to customize the feature to their needs. They can select which metadata fields to display, determine their order, and choose the template that best fits their presentation style. The Flip Card is more than a visual upgrade — it's a step forward in how we interact with your Knowledge in Atlas.

SmartHub Spell Check and Query Suggestions

 

 

Atlas + SmartHub has new features for a better search experience Spell check is enabled by default, to autocorrect the queries for a better match.

Query suggestions in the Atlas Search Box Web Part provide suggestions when you start typing to the different providers that you have set up in your SmartHub configuration (Documents, People, Recent Searches…)
