Editors can now enhance the visual appeal of In Focus web parts with new container styling options. This feature allows for the addition of background images, colors, and gradients, providing a consistent and attractive layout across different sections. The customization options ensure that web parts are visually engaging and align with the overall branding of your platform.
In addition, the Hero layout now has a new setting to extend to up to three tiles (previously only 1-2 as options). This enables more flexibility to achieve even more engaging designs and showcase more information at a glance.
New container styling options
We have some new options for styling your In Focus "containers" - by which we mean the area around the actual content cards. To see the new options, edit the In Focus web part and at the bottom of the Layout section turn on the Container Styling toggle which will reveal some additional options:
The best way to experience the effect is to simply select some themes and see how it affects your web part. For example, choosing the yellow:
Alternatively you can use an image for the background. Click Browse image to open the image picker, choose an image, then see the effect on your web part:

Three Tiles Hero Layout
When you choose the "Hero" layout you can now choose 1, 2 or 3 tiles:
