Atlas has two main options for embedding content; the Microsoft Embed web part and the Atlas Secure Script Editor web part. Both of these rely on the HTML Field Security setting for the workspace including the URL you want to embed.
Add a URL to the HTML Field Security setting
Site Collection Administrators for each workspace will need to specify which domains content can be embedded from, for example your own website, or a third party website that provides useful data for your organisation. Domains need to be set for each workspace individually - this helps to ensure as much control is available for administrators as possible as to what can be embedded into the system.
- To enable specific domains in a workspace, first go to Site settings via the top right menu. If you don't see this option choose Site information then click View all site settings in the panel
- Under the Site Collection Administration heading, click "HTML Field Security"
- First, ensure the top setting is set to Allow contributors to insert iframes only from the following domains - we highly recommend not using the second option:
- To allow your specific domain, type the domain into the box in the same format as those you can see already added. By this we mean having the URL in its most basic form not including "https", "www" etc. and removing any trailing characters e.g. "/"
- Type into the box above the list, then click Add to enable the domain for embedding:
