Alternative Branding for External Users (Atlas 5.4+)

Overview

To provide a distinct experience for external guest users, we have introduced a feature that displays a different logo and background image for users depending whether or not they are in the "Atlas Trusted External Users" group. This ensures that external users accessing an Atlas extranet have a tailored visual experience that differentiates them from internal users.

This customization supports branding and personalization efforts, enhancing the overall user experience for extranet scenarios.

Apply secondary branding

If the specific GuestsLogo.png and GuestsBanner.png files are present in the "Images" folder in the Atlas Assets library, they will be displayed for these users.

1. To upload these, go to the Atlas Configuration workspace and open the Atlas Assets library using the link on the left hand navigation
2. Open the Images folder
3. Upload images with the specific filenames GuestsLogo.png and GuestsBanner.png
4. Ensure you Publish both images.

You can now test with an external user to verify. Note that if that external user has accessed Atlas before they may need to clear their cache to see the changes.
