You can add a folder or channel to a workspace via the ConneX card, as explained here: ConneX Folder and Channel Creation
When you create through ConneX you will also be able to set default values for Atlas metadata, but what if you need to change them later?
Update default metadata values for a channel or folder
The default metadata values cannot be changed via ConneX, instead you will need to navigate to the Document library in your workspace, then go to Library Settings:
Under the option ‘column default value settings’ you can select default metadata values and manage the folder structure tagging:
Select a folder from the tree on the left to modify the defualt values. Any folders with customised values will receive a green gear icon next to the folder (as shown below for "Projects"):
Inside the folder, click the field name from the list, choose "Use this default value" then choose the new value from the metadata tree:
