Page content in Atlas such as News and Location pages are stored in the Site Pages SharePoint library in each workspace and as such can be managed in those libraries if required. To delete a single News item it is likely faster to just navigate to the page through the News option in the Search menu and delete the page, but if you want to manage many items at once you should go to the Site Pages library for the current Atlas site.
IMPORTANT: Do not delete the Home.aspx page from any library unless instructed by support!
Manage Individual pages
- To manage the pages in your workspace, go to the top right menu and choose Site contents
- Click the Site Pages library to see all the pages:
- From the list of pages, you have a number of common options on right click:
- Delete a page by choosing Delete
- See the version history and restore old versions by clicking Version History
- Choose More > Check Out to take control of the page to make changes or updates to the content and/or metadata
- See any items with the “checked out” icon () and Publish them clicking More > Publish
We do not recommend creating new pages from this screen, instead we would recommend using the Add It experience to create new pages. See here:
Manage Multiple pages
To delete multiple pages at once you should follow the same initial steps.
- To manage the pages in your workspace, go to the top right menu and choose Site contents
- Click the Site Pages library to see all the pages:
- Use the selection checkboxes to the left of each item to select multiple items:
- In the bar at the top of the library you will now see a reduced set of options that can be applied in bulk:
