Sometimes you may need to remove an External Insight from the system, or update it if the image has been deleted or changed on the external website the link points to, leaving Atlas using a default image for these items.
Important: We do not recommend adding External Insights directly from the lists as it will require a lot more effort from the user than creating them in Add It.
- First, find the External Insight you need to manage then click the ellipsis (...) on the External Insight card and click Go to source to go directly to the correct list:
- You now have a couple of options depending what you need to do:
- Find the item you want to remove, then right click on it or click the ellipsis (...) and Delete it:
- Edit the tags, for example if you want to show the item in more or different workspaces, by clicking Edit and changing the tags in the panel on the right. Make sure you click Save at the top to save your changes,
- Update the Title or Summary text,
- Update the thumbnail image by clicking Edit and providing a new URL in the Image field.
- Find the item you want to remove, then right click on it or click the ellipsis (...) and Delete it:
