Some Atlas page layouts have the Page Properties web part by default on the right hand side. This web part shows the values of the different metadata properties for the page:
In this article:
Change which properties are shown
By default the web part shows all properties for the current page. If you want to adjust this to remove properties which are empty or unlikely to be populated, you can choose which properties are shown. Edit the page, then edit the web part by clicking on it and choosing the pencil icon:
This will open a configuration panel on the right hand side of the page where you can see each property listed. You can click Remove (1) under any property to stop showing it in the web part, or click Add (2) at the bottom of the panel to start showing a property:
To change the order, you should simply use the dropdowns to change the selected properties - they will be shown in the same order in this panel as in the web part itself.
Editing the values of page properties
To change the values of the properties for the current page that could be shown in the web part, edit the page then click Page details in the top left to open a panel on the right which allows you to change the values:
Each property can then be edited to add, remove or change the value(s). Required properties are marked with a red * and the page cannot be published until required properties are populated.
If the Page Properties web part is already added to a page and you change the value of one of the properties, it will be updated in the web part next time you load the page.
Remove the web part
If you want to remove the Page Properties web part you can do so simply by editing the page, clicking on the web part, then clicking the "bin" icon to remove the web part:
To add it again simply add the Page properties web part, but be aware you will need to configure the properties manually:
