Atlas has a number of different components available to help users navigate the sites and content available to them. Some of these are part of the Atlas Header and accessible from any page, while others allow navigation links to be placed only on specific workspaces or even specific pages.

Always accessible
The components that are always accessible from everywhere in Atlas include:
- The system logo in the top left, which always points to your Global Homepage,
- The "Launchpad" to the right of the logo which provides links to non-Atlas web applications,
- The Global Navigation which can be configured to provide a deep dive into the content in each workspace,
- "My Links" inside the Atlas button which the user can configure for themselves
- The Atlas Footer which can contain some static links set by your Atlas Global administrators, both simple text links (left hand side) and images (central)

On specific types of workspace
Each Atlas workspace can have its own specific "Current navigation" menu, either on the left hand side of the page (Knowledge workspaces only);
Or across the top of the page just below the Atlas Header (all workspace types):

On specific pages
There are also a number of components available or provided by default for certain types of Atlas page:
- Microsoft offer a number of web parts that can be used for links and navigation:
- Button
- Call to Action
- Hero (1-5 images with optional links)
- Image (link is optional)
- Link
- Quick Links
- Atlas then offers the following:
- Useful Links can be added to any Atlas page and by default shows links matching the tags of the current page. Useful Links can be added via Add It:
- HoverPoint is not only for linking, but each point can be configured as a link if you wish so you can build a visual navigation experience.
- Spotlights and External Insights are essentially just navigation links displayed as tiles to fit in with other Atlas content. You can add these items using Add It:
