New to Atlas? Here are the things you should look at first. This article doesn't go into too much detail, but when you require detailed guidance for individual components or features they can be found in other articles here in Zendesk.
In this article:
Atlas Homepage
The homepage is your window into everything that's happening in Atlas. Depending on the way the homepage is configured you may see global News, Events, Knowledge, Links and more, coming from all Atlas workspaces. You can click your logo in the top left from anywhere in Atlas to visit the homepage.
On the homepage you can scroll through content and click on anything you want to read further. If you click on a News article or Knowledge page you'll be taken to that information inside Atlas. If you click on a document it will open in the default application, or in the browser.
Menus and Navigation
At the very top of every Microsoft 365 application you will get the "Suite bar", the white bar at the top of the image below, which gives access to other Microsoft 365 applications, Settings (contextual to the current application), Help and the User Profile for the logged in user.
Below the suite bar, everywhere in Atlas you will see the Atlas Header which includes the system logo, Launchpad, Global Navigation, Atlas settings, Add It and Atlas Search. The Launchpad and Global Navigation are configured by your organisation to give quick access to Applications, Atlas workspaces and other content.
Add It
If you want to contribute some content to Atlas, you can do this via Add It, which guides you through the process. To get started, click the Add It icon (+) in the top right:
If you're not able to contribute yet you'll need to ask someone from your organisation to get you set up and provide some training materials.
