ConneX allows authorised users to create and manage Atlas or Microsoft Teams workspaces. It is accessible from many workspaces by default by clicking All Workspaces in the left hand menu:
This will take you to a page containing the ConneX web part.

- Use the refinement panel to filter the workspaces shown based on metadata
- Use the sorting options to sort by Created Date or Title, and to choose the sort order

Refresh button
As part of the Atlas 3.3 release we have updated the ConneX web part to include a Refresh button which allows you to refresh just the result cards and their status etc. while keeping your filters and sorting. Previously you had to refresh the whole page which meant your filters were not maintained.
To refresh the results simply click the Refresh button next to the sort order picker:
ConneX Template filter option
Following the introduction of ConneX Studio preview in Atlas 3.2 we have now added a Workspace Template filter which allows you to filter by the Atlas templates or by your own templates created via ConneX Studio:
ConneX cards
In Atlas 3.1 we updated the ConneX cards with a new rounded look and to provide quicker access to the different elements of the workspace. Cards now show the most popular elements along the bottom with an ellipsis (...) providing access to the less popular elements:
Additionally, from workspaces with Microsoft Teams behind them you will see a small arrow next to the Teams icon. You can click this to see the list of channels and access a specific channel directly by clicking on the channel you want to go to. You can also type in the Filter box to narrow down the list:
Please note that cards for Private workspaces that the current user is not a Member of will not show the list of channels due to the user permissions.
In the bottom left of each card above the links menu we can see the privacy setting for the workspace - the "lock" means private, the "globe" means public. Above that we can see the Created Date of the workspace.
In the bottom right we can see the number of members, and click to see who they are. Above that we can see whether the current user has joined the team - if you have not joined the team or workspace and it is public you will see a Join button which you can click to join. If you have already joined you can click Leave to leave. Private workspaces will not show this button.
Finally, in the top right of each card is an ellipsis (...) which provides access to the Join, Edit and Delete options. Learn about editing workspaces here: Edit a workspace with ConneX
These are only available if you have the necessary ConneX permissions:
Please note that deleting a workspace removes it and all data associated with it!
In the top left of each card we can see the privacy setting for the workspace - the "lock" means private, the "globe" means public. In the top right we can see the Created Date and which app will open by default when you click the card - the left example opens SharePoint while the right example opens Teams.
Next we see the site icon, title and description, then at the bottom we can see the number of members and whether the current user has joined the team - if you have not joined the team or workspace and it is public you will see a "Join" button which you can click to join. On the right example card we can see an exclamation mark on the members icon, which indicates that there are Guest Users from outside your organisation in the workspace.
Finally, in the bottom right of each card is an ellipsis icon which provides additional options depending on your permissions and the features available in that workspace:
The options above the line depend on the features available in the Team or workspace, and clicking them opens the specific resource such as Planner or Teams directly.
The options below the line depend on your permissions and whether you are a member of the workspace. If you are a member you have the Leave option, and if you are an owner you have the Delete option. Please note that deleting a workspace removes it and all data associated with it!
