If you are experiencing an issue with Atlas the first troubleshooting step you should always try before contacting support is to Clear your Atlas cache. Please note that these steps are specifically tested for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
In this article we will explain the steps you should take to clear the various caches that may be used by Atlas. After each step we recommend checking again to see if your issue is now resolved, and if not then move on to the next step.
For detailed technical information about the caches Atlas uses please see the following article: Caching in Atlas

Why would you need to clear your cache?
- You created a new workspace, but it is not showing up in Add It
- Your Global Navigation is not loading, or is not showing recently added links
- You see errors in components on pages where you would expect to see content.
Clear the Atlas Cache
First you should try to clear the cache using the Clear Cache button in the Atlas menu. This should resolve issues with the Global Navigation not loading or showing out of date information, but it can also resolve some other issues.
Open the Atlas menu in the top right, and at the bottom of that menu click Clear Cache:
The cache will be cleared and the page will be reloaded creating a new cache. If this does not resolve your issue, please try the next step.
Empty the Browser Cache
If clearing the Atlas cache does not resolve your issue, next you should open the Developer Tools panel using F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I. This will load a panel inside the browser window. Once that panel is open, click the Application tab:
Inside that tab, scroll down and below the "pie chart" click the Clear site data button.
You may also see an option next to this button which says "including third-party cookies" - if you see this option you should select it:
Finally, right click on the Refresh button to the left of the address bar and click Empty cache and hard refresh:
Note that in some browsers this option may have a slightly different name.
These steps should clear the browser cache for the site and reload the page creating a new cache.
Still need help?
If neither of the options on this page resolve your issue, please open a support ticket and provide details of the issue you are experiencing including any error messages, which users are affected, etc.
