What is the purpose of this guide?
This guide will briefly explain how you can set-up the Viva Connections mobile experience for your organization.
This set-up guide will make it so that users will see a single image-link within their Viva Connections mobile experience. When they select this image, they will be taken to your Atlas home-site via an internal browser or potentially using the SharePoint mobile application if that is installed.
Pre-Requisites
- In order to complete these step-by-step instructions, you must have the permissions (or privileges) of a Global Administrator.
- It is also necessary that you have already completed the steps outlined in this article before following this guide, ensuring that the Desktop experience of Viva Connections is working as expected.
- An image for the Web-link Card. Image recommendations for cards in the Dashboard: medium cards should be 300x150 to 400x200 with 2:1 aspect ratio and large cards 300x300 to 400x400 with 1:1 aspect ratio in order to prevent stretching in the mobile app.
Please note that although the wider process and tool is still referred to as 'Viva Connections', the app itself has been renamed by Microsoft to 'Connections'.

The final result of this will look like the following:
Users in the mobile experience will now have access to your ATLAS site via this link. They may need to clear their mobile’s Teams application cache to see these changes immediately.
There are many Cards that you can utilize in creating this mobile dashboard, giving Viva Connection great flexibility in how it is used. This method is just our recommendation as it is easy to set-up. If you wish to set Viva Connections mobile up in another way, please refer to the glossary in this article.
