Quick Add It

Quick Add It is a feature which enables contributors to streamline their content creation process by creating directly from the In Focus web parts on their pages.​ 

Any In Focus web part can now be enabled for Quick Add It by following this guide: Enable Quick Add It for an In Focus web part

The generic In Focus web part will allow you to configure many different content types for Quick Add It, while specific configured web parts such as News (Atlas) will assume you only want to create News.

When you click the New button on an In Focus web part you will immediately be presented with a panel like this on the right hand side of the page - in this case from the Events web part: 

 

When clicking New on the generic In Focus web part we will offer a dropdown of all Atlas content types that can be created. You can simply click on what you want to create to open the Quick Add It panel for that type of content:

To submit content users simply need to fill in the form on the right, set appropriate metadata and click Submit. When creating all types of page the user will then be redirected to the created page to add their content.
