In this article we will show how to enable Quick Add It for an In Focus web part. To learn more about Quick Add It please see the main article: Quick Add It
Enable Quick Add It for a web part
- Start by editing the page with the In Focus web part on it, then edit the web part itself.
- In the configuration panel on the right of your screen, go to Page 2 then scroll down until you find the section "Quick Add It settings"
- To enable Quick Add It simply turn the toggle to On.
If you're using an In Focus web part for a specific content type such as News or Events, this is all you need to do, as the component is already configured to open Quick Add It for its content type.
- If you're using the generic In Focus web part you'll find that users can add any Atlas content type by default, so you may want to trim the list of options available. Click the Configure types button to open the list of available content types:
- To remove a content type from the list, simply click the X on the right hand side. To edit the name(s) of a content type click Edit labels and change the label as you wish.
- Make sure you click Save at the bottom after making your changes.
And that's it! You'll now see the New button on your web part and your contributors can add content directly from it:
