Atlas 3.3 enhances key features to improve the user experience.
In this quarterly release we are extending In Focus capabilities by including quick access to Add It. Feedback from users of Add It showed that creating content from going to Add It requires too many clicks and could be cumbersome for most users. We have therefore built a new foundation to streamline the creation of content which reduces friction for editors when they provide content and enriches the knowledge available.
Add It is not the only improvement for In Focus... hover descriptions for In Focus cards (External Insights, Spotlights…) are back! The hover description shows a text content insight on the top of each card where a description is available. This summary will let the user understand the card before having to navigate to the content.
In addition, we have included another brand new feature to In Focus: Content placeholders for empty web parts. This is useful for when editors are still working out page layouts or just want to make a more prominent call to action for other editors to contribute. Placeholder cards will show a web part as it is expected to be seen to ensure the page looks as expected even when no content is returned.
Last but not least, this release is our biggest milestone when it comes to multilingual support. Version 3.3 contains up to 10 languages, which are configurable per tenant and ensures you only use what you need on each case. This includes (in alphabetical order): Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian (Cyrillic characters).

Quick Add It from In Focus
Quick Add It from In Focus enables streamlining content creation right from the page content. Any content editor can now contribute any type of new content straight from its presentation layer. Please note that this is not enabled by default.
In Focus descriptions on cards
Insightful descriptions are now shown within each card/tile in In Focus on a mouse hover. The descriptions are indexed from the page or item content. They also work for all content types compatible with cards formatted in filtered queries.
Content Placeholders for In Focus
Sometimes pages are lacking content for different reasons: newly created workspace, preparing some content in a collaboration area before publishing or just waiting for your users to contribute.
You can now enable placeholders that will give you a hint on how the page will look like when content has been added. Plus the optional Quick Add It card will encourage your editors to contribute content right to the source.
Configurable multilingual support
The Atlas user interface supports up to 10 different languages. It is configurable to include only those you need in your workspaces. This new addition will assist you in increasing your user base by creating an inclusive multilingual environment that helps users from different regions and cultures to collaborate and work together.
