Change the text and branding for Quick Add It (Atlas 3.3+)

Quick Add It uses a default configuration for the Title, Description and Image in the left hand side of the panel, but you can change these assets for your tenant if you wish.

Changing the Title and Description requires you to have Tenant Administrator permissions, and changing the Image requires you to have at least Member permissions to the Atlas Configuration workspace.

Change the Quick Add It Title and Description

To change the Title and Description for Quick Add It, a Tenant Administrator will need to go to the Tenant Properties page in the Atlas Configuration workspace, which you can access by following this article: Manage Tenant Properties for Atlas

1. On the Tenant Properties page, type "quickaddit" into the Search box to see the two relevant properties:
   
   
2. Choose the field you want to update, click on it, then click Edit above the Search box. This will open a panel on the right hand side of the page. You should expand the Value box by dragging down from the bottom right corner so you can see the full text:
   
   
3. You will see that default labels are provided for all languages supported by Atlas. If you only need to update the UK English label you will find that this is the first item in the array. You should note that US English is the default so even if you only update for the English language you should update both UK and US English (en-GB and en-US) which are the first two items.
4. Each language item is in this format:
   {"language":"en-GB","label":"Quick Add It","default":false}
   So to update the label for a single language simply change the label value from "Quick Add It" to your preferred label.
5. Once you have made all required changes to the languages you need, click the Save button at the bottom of the panel.

Change the Quick Add It Image

The Quick Add It image needs to be changed separately from the Title and Description. You will first need to go to the Atlas Configuration workspace, where you must have at least Member permissions to make these changes.

1. Navigate to the Atlas Configuration workspace. This workspace can be found by searching for "configuration" in Atlas ConneX, or by manually navigating to the site at /sites/atlasconfiguration in your M365 tenant.
2. Click Atlas Assets in the left hand navigation, then open the Images folder.
3. Right click on QuickAddItImage.png, click More then Check out. 
   
4. Upload your new image with the same filename and overwrite the existing file.
5. Right click on the new file, choose More then Check in. On the popup that appears, choose Major version (publish). You can add a comment if you wish, but it is not required. Finally click the Check in button at the bottom of the popup.
6. You're done! The old Quick Add It image will be replaced for each user when their browser cache is next cleared. This can be done manually to get the new look immediately. See here for how to clear the cache for a user: How to completely clear Atlas caches
