In Atlas release version 4.1 the focus has been on improving governance capabilities through Sensitivity label defaults supported for ConneX Studio templates. Existing features like shared channels creation from ConneX have also been enhanced.
In this release we also, introduce a brand new costed feature called Atlas Ideation, that will enable teams to run idea campaigns and users to contribute with scoring mechanisms and additional campaign controls.
In addition to this, a brand new version of Add IT will be available. It uses the Quick Add It engine to allow contributors to also add content to custom libraries/lists as well as custom content types and metadata fields.

Atlas Ideation*
This webpart will help in gathering the best and most innovative ideas to solve business challenges. This new feature will enable admins to set challenges that staff can submit ideas to. These ideas can then be voted on by groups of users or the whole organisation.
* Additional Atlas licensing costs may be required
NEW Add It
New Add It utilises the engine from Quick Add It and will enable users to not only contribute to standard Atlas content (documents, news, knowledge etc.) but also additional customer libraries and lists with custom content. Thus, further extending the capabilities of Atlas to support enhanced workflows within the platform.
Sensitivity Labels for workspaces
Sensitivity labels are a means to classify your organisation’s data in a way that shows how sensitive the data is. This helps you reduce risks in sharing information that shouldn’t be accessible to anyone outside your organisation or department. Applying sensitivity labels allows you to protect all your data easily.
This release enables customers to build templates using ConneX Studio and assign sensitivity labels (e.g. Public, Confidential, Top Secret) to the Atlas template so that when network spaces are provisioned, they will be assigned the label and any protection or retention policies associated with the label will be automatically applied (such as encryption, exclusion of guest users etc.)
Shared channels in ConneX
Shared channels (aka Teams Connect) has reached general availability this quarter.
By enabling shared channels creation from ConneX you can unleash the power of cross-organisation collaboration by having Atlasified channels showing across all organisations involved in collaboration workspaces including Atlas metadata capabilities and more.
Timing for Automating Cache Updating for Users
In Atlas 4.1 we have reduced the default browser cache time for users down to 7 days, so each week a user's cache will refresh automatically to ensure updated menu changes, options and newer permissions will appear automatically, reducing the need to instruct users to refresh their cache manually.
