Usage Requirements
The Learning & Development workspace is only available to internal users with a Microsoft 365 license such as E3 assigned. If you have questions about compatibility for specific licenses please raise a support ticket with us. Please note that external users cannot use this feature. The Learning and Development Workspace is created automatically with the Installation or Update to Atlas 4.3. Also, permission is automatically granted to the Workspace for the Atlas Enterprise Administrators group and the default admin account used for Atlas deployments.
Overview
In Atlas 4.3 we introduce the Learning & Development workspace which contains structured learning paths for Atlas, tailored to your level of experience with Foundation, Champion, and Admin tiers.
Unlock the potential of Atlas with this new workspace packed with valuable resources to help your users master the Atlas platform. We are also providing guides on service adoption and change management when launching Atlas.
In the L&D workspace users will have an individual learning profile to keep track of their progress and can easily see which modules have been completed and pick up where they left off.
Learning Paths
To get started, choose a Learning Path. You can do this by selecting one from "Learning paths" in the workspace sub-menu, or scrolling down the homepage to the Learning Paths section.
Each learning path link will take you to a page containing all the modules for that path. As you scroll down the page you'll see a header for each module showing your individual progress:
Modules, sections and content
Under each module header on the Learning Path page you'll see the sections within, and under that the content for the selected section. Click one of the section buttons in a module to see the content for that section:
In the chosen section you can then click each item to open the content in a modal window. This content could be a document, video or a page. Once you have read/watched and understood the content, click the Complete button below to mark the completion against your profile. After you see the button change to the text Completed you can close the modal window and open the next item.
After each completion your progress will be recorded, but note that you will not see it tracked in the tracker on the module page until that page is refreshed - you can continue to the next item. If you want to confirm your current progress at any time simply refresh the page.
My learning profile
The "My learning profile" link can be found in the workspace menu next to the title:
From this page you can see your progress on each learning path as well as the recent modules you have made progress on.
My team's learning profile
The "My team's learning profile" link can be found in the workspace menu next to the title:
If you are a manager, you can see the progress of your direct team members on each learning path and the modules within. You can also alter the configuration of the permissions here to see anyone's learning profile within your company.
